What more positive can you say about a throwaway match given the “death slot” between a John Cena match and the main event, other than “good for Sami Zayn!”?

Zayn defeated Mike Kanellis in a nothing match that balanced out a previous loss, and probably will be avenged in the coming weeks as well. While Zayn lost their first match due to Maria interfering, Sami managed to avoid the same pitfalls when Maria interfered again Sunday. Sami hit all his trademark moves and looked fine in victory, but it just didn’t feel like anything special.

And don't get us started on this strange "Power of Love" gimmick with Mike and Maria.

But hey, at least Sami wasn’t a fall guy again. So there’s that.
