After losing the Quiz Bowl, Alpha Academy needed to right the ship somehow, and beating back and impromptu challenge from the Street Profits was as good of a way to do that.

The Profits came out to gloat about Chad Gable & Otis losing to RK-Bro, but Gable instead challenged them to a match. The action was fast-paced, with Angelo Dawkins and Gable getting a nice spot early on to showcase the bigger man’s athleticism. Otis took over for his team, but things broke down and led to Montez Ford again hitting his insane superhero dive over the top rope to the floor onto the big tree trunk.

But in the ring, Gable reversed a Silencer attempt into an anklelock, then countered a rollup attempt by sitting down on Dawkins for the pin.

Yes, we could lament the Profits losing a tag match, but the tag champs winning and staying strong is far more important, and Dawkins & Ford lost a spirited and competitive match against the champs, so they should be able to hold up fine.
