5 Ups And 7 Downs From WWE Raw (May 4)

5. Lame DQ

Bobby Lashley Humberto

So Bobby Lashley runs through three wrestlers and is well on his way to snuffing out a fourth, and he gets DQ’d for being too aggressive in the corner with Humberto Carrillo.

Riiiiiight.

That’s a surefire way to put a guy over as being dominant. Maybe it was a bad job by the announcers or poor execution by Lashley and the referee, but the incident that led to the disqualification looked nowhere near serious enough to lead to The Allmighty getting the hook. Maybe if Lashley had shoved the ref to the ground after vicious beating Carrillo to a pulp it would have been more convincing, but this just looked super-lame.

And in turn, it just made Lashley continue to look like a step above a jobber.
