5 Ups And 8 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (March 20)

Ups...

5. Don’t Let The Door Hit You

The Long Goodbye that WWE likes to do when a character is fired or is leaving the company is a little hackneyed, but the farewell to Mick Foley Monday night was decently done.

Backstage, Sami Zayn – who had just “stood up” for Foley against Stephanie McMahon – called him his hero. Then Sheamus and Cesaro thanked him for putting them together as a team, which was nice continuity. And Bayley, who was brought to Raw by Foley, gave him (what else?) a big hug.

But the highlight was Triple H, standing there smugly, looking Mick right in the eyes, and finally belting out, “Have a nice day!” This entire ongoing authority figure feud has been insufferable, but we’ll give positive marks for that one.
