5 Ups And 8 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (March 20)

1. Needs More Stephanie

Look, if sometime in the coming weeks, Stephanie McMahon gets her comeuppance and is put in her place, then this is for naught and can be rendered moot.

Monday night, Stephanie fired Mick Foley, and subsequently punished Sami Zayn, Bayley, and Cesaro & Sheamus for being supporters of the former Raw GM. She put all of them in matches, with Bayley and Cesaro & Sheamus’ bouts having WrestleMania implications. She very clearly was wielding power in a corrupt manner, the kind of vindictive, spiteful boss who deserves to be put in her place.

But if history is any indication, Stephanie will continue to dominate Raw much in the same way she did Monday night without ever facing retribution from another character – unless it’s another McMahon. Instead, this will probably end up being another week where Steph shows up a bunch of times on camera to make wrestlers’ lives miserable and strut around and never face any consequences.

And that is the short reason why she’s one of the worst characters in WWE. At least her father knew how to “show his a**” and take his lumps from time to time.
