…Said no one, ever.

Seriously, for as great as the Kevin Owens/Chris Jericho blood feud has been, Seth Rollins and Triple H literally have three years of history to play off of, and they’re down to the boss offering a “hold harmless” contract signing for a non-sanctioned match… after a lengthy, boring diatribe and reshowing the same footage we’ve already seen multiple times.

This feud was off to a good start, way back in the summer when Triple H turned on Rollins and cost him the Universal Championship. And while the rivalry got sidetracked for a while, it still looked like it could be a good feud for WrestleMania. Rollins’ injury was unfortunate, but it should not have prevented a good build to Mania.

Instead, we followed up an intriguing confrontation last week with a Triple H snoozefest, er, sitdown interview where he droned on and on, pretended to be done with Rollins, and then offered him an unsanctioned match because the fans (the same ones he mocked for half the segment) wanted the bout.

Shouldn’t he simply want the match – sanctioned or not – to end Rollins once and for all? Wouldn’t that be enough?
