It wasn’t an outstanding bout, but the Intercontinental Championship TLC match to close Raw was a car crash filled with drama, and that’s about all you can ask for at this point.

Seth Rollins and Baron Corbin had a good match, battling back and forth, breaking tables and smashing chairs across each other’s backs. Despite some assistance from referee Heath Slater, Corbin was unable to capture the IC title, as Rollins recovered the title.

The match definitely had fans in the arena dialed in, as they were hanging on each climb and Slater’s interference. That in itself helps this match land on the “ups” side of things, and it ended with the heel authority figure getting knocked down a peg, which also merits a thumbs-up.
