5 Ups And 9 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Dec 10)
4. Trying To Make Things Personal

One of the criticisms Raw gets is a lack of development of characters and storylines. Despite having three hours and 87 writers, they still can’t manage to tell compelling stories all the way down the card.
And while destroying Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart’s sunglasses is hardly a compelling angle for a feud, it’s at least something, and it’s given Natalya and Ruby Riott something to base their rivalry on.
Monday, Nattie talked about her legacy, and how she was going to beat some respect into Ruby, prompting Riott to say that she needed counseling and was a disgrace to the Hart family. She then unveiled a table adorned with The Anvil’s likeness, promising to put Natalya through that table.
It was a simple segment that at least tried to make this tables match at TLC carry some weight. Sure, it’s not going to be a huge bout, but we’ll give a couple points for effort here.
