Since their reboot on Raw, AOP has been a dominant force in the tag team division. Winning the Raw Tag Team Championships was the right call at the time.

And even losing how they lost them – with the manager getting pinned to protect the duo – wasn’t a terrible call. But the problem here is that there was no follow-up with Akam and Rezar laying into Drake Maverick. There’s no way that they shouldn’t have been livid with their manager, who insisted on tagging in to get the pin and then gloated too long and lost.

AOP should have yelled at Maverick and chased him out of the ring, or fired him on the spot. Hell, they fired their old manager after winning their debut match, so why wouldn’t they at least lash out at Drake?

Even yelling at Maverick after the match would have shown some character, how a normal person would react.
