5 Ups And 9 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (June 8th)

Ups...

5. Comedy Hour

Again, finding positives Monday night was tough at times, so this will get a thumbs-up simply because it at least keeps R-Truth out of a title match and uses him as a comedy guy, which is probably what he€™s best suited for now. During the godawful multi-man ladder match promo, Truth came out and talked about how he had overcome his fear of heights at WrestleMania XXXI (in the Intercontinental Championship ladder match), only to be informed that he wasn€™t actually in the Money in the Bank ladder match. Kane played straight man, allowing Truth to acknowledge that €œThis is on me,€ before slinking to the back. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oggcnIKZ9Po Some will find it a funny diversion, while some will think it€™s a shame to see Truth being treated like a joke. WWE really missed the boat with keeping him as a paranoid, delusional heel, but if they€™re going to just use him for comic relief €“ and keep him out of the title picture €“ then that€™s an effective use of him too.
