The Hell in a Cell structure might be red, but the opening cell match between Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks was white hot.

The two women absolutely killed it with their Raw Women’s Championship contest, with Banks jumping Lynch before the cell was even fully lowered, Becky responding by stealing the chain and pummeling Sasha with it, and both wrestlers attacking each other with pure venom. Steel chairs, ladders, kendo sticks and a table all got involved, but the match kept moving at a breakneck pace.

Yes, they took time to sell the impact of the moves, but they didn’t lay around for five minutes between big moves. This was a fast-paced, hard-hitting match that really served as a “can you top this?” call to the rest of the locker room.

It might have only been the second women’s cell match, but Lynch and Banks proved that they deserved their spot in it.
