5 Ups And 9 Downs From WWE Super Showdown 2019

6. A Bland Clash Of The Titans

On paper, a match between Braun Strowman and Bobby Lashley should be a hard-hitting slobberknocker, as Jim Ross would say.

And while their match at Super Showdown had a few decent moments, it was too short and too pedestrian to reach that level, making it a disappointment. It felt like they were in a lower gear the entire time. And sure, you can blame the heat, but that doesn’t make it any less disappointing as a fan.

Hopefully, if they do a rematch down the line, both men will go all-out to show what really can be between them.
