5 Ups And Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Jan 5th)
DOWNS
5. Wait, So This Was The Plan All Along?
As fans sat through yet another lengthy opening talk segment on a wrestling program, we learned that Triple H thought very little of all the guest hosts/GMs that populated Raw and Smackdown during the Authoritys absence. Hunter made sure to mock Ho-Ho-Hogan and the Anonymous Raw GM as being terrible and contributing to the chaos of the last six weeks. So basically, Triple H admitted that the stuff they willingly put on television the past month-plus was indeed junk. This is either backpedaling at its finest, or were to believe that the writers figured theyd put utter crap on television and tank ratings, all in the name of giving a reason to bring back the Authority. That is some amazing retconning. Even within the actual context of the show, if the guest hosts were so awful, who booked them in the first place? And will the Authority punish them?
