4. Show A Little Spine
Once again, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon have to show how powerful they are and how impotent the wrestlers are. They book them in unfair matches, and instead of figuring it out and coming together, they all get their butts kicked (more on that in a bit). But then at the end, when its clear theyre going to face the music they just stand there silently. If you want fans to actually care about the wrestlers getting fired, have them do something. Have Dolph Ziggler grab the mic from Stephanie or Ryback step to Triple H. Have the Authority try to get them to grovel for their jobs and when they refuse, then they get the ax. Anything that shows that they have spines and can stand up for themselves would make them more sympathetic in the fans eyes. Fans cared about Daniel Bryan because he stood up to the Authority. Same goes for CM Punk a couple years ago with Triple H. Fans like to see their heroes fighting, not standing with their hands figuratively in their pockets.
