5 Ups And Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Nov 17th)

2. Promo Class Is In Session

The longer the feud between Bray Wyatt and Dean Ambrose goes, the easier it is to forgive the godawful ending to the Hell in a Cell match last month. (By €œeasier,€ it means that it€™s now a 14 on a scale of 1-10.) Wyatt and Ambrose are two of the most unique promo guys in WWE today. They don€™t speak in the same stilted manner that others do. They don€™t repeat their own name or their opponent€™s name 10 times. They don€™t start their sentences with €œYou know€€ like others often do. Pairing them up has given fans an opportunity for a very different kind of feud than what WWE typically serves up, with high-quality verbal sparring. Ambrose than pulled a trick that you wonder why isn€™t used more often €“ showing a taped promo on the big screen while he sneaks up behind Wyatt to attack. Granted, the time allocated for their feud has been dwarfed by Team Cena versus Team Authority, but Ambrose and Wyatt are making the most of it, and it seems to have reinvigorated Wyatt. It€™ll be interesting to see if they book a decisive finish, as both men need a strong showing at Survivor Series.
