5 Ways For WWE To Fix Asuka

1. Move her back to NXT

Asuka vs Io Shirai has been a dream match ever since the Genius of the Sky signed with the WWE in 2018, and the time is right for it to finally happen.

Asuka needs to leave the Raw scene behind, and she has already feuded with the majority of the big names on SmackDown. That leaves NXT, and the storyline practically writes itself.

Asuka should be fuming at being treated like an afterthought on Raw and will want to prove she's still got it. Where else to do that but in NXT, which has the best women's divison in the world?

The Empress of Tomorrow has an open invitation to reclaim the NXT belt whenever she likes (she never lost belt, instead abdicating the title when she moved up to RAW in 2017), and she should absolutely take advantage of it in the run-up to 'Mania this year.

Shirai may be feuding with Toni Storm, but adding Asuka to the mix would only increase the number of eyes on their feud. Plus, whoever Asuka doesn't pin at 'Mania would have a ready-made excuse to feud with her afterwards.

As well as Asuka vs. Io, or Asuka vs. Storm, it's impossible not to get excited about the potential match-ups awaiting the Empress in NXT. Asuka vs. Candice LeRae would put her against NXT's most entertaining heel faction, Asuka vs. Tian Sha would see her fighting a millennia-old dragon warrior (because sometimes wrestling is crazy in all the right ways), and a match against NXT UK's Meiko Satomura would be chef's kiss.

Asuka is too damn talented to be left on the sidelines, and NXT would be the perfect place to let her do what she does best.
