5 Ways The Undertaker Could Retire From WWE

2. Raw Retirement Show

Following the WrestleMania defeats of Ric Flair and Shawn Michaels in their respective 'career threatening matches' the post WrestleMania Monday Night RAW hosted a 'retirement' show. Who could forget the emotional scenes of Ric Flair in 2008 being honoured by WWE superstars past and present or in 2010 when Shawn Michaels concluded his farewell speech with the infamous line, "The Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels has just left the building!" It is clear that Monday Night RAW tribute shows have historically honoured some of the greatest WWE legends as they enter professional retirement, and it would make sense that a similar tribute show could be created to honour, potentially, the greatest WWE legend in The Undertaker. A RAW show dedicated to honouring The Undertaker would be a fitting scenario in which to process one of the most high profile retirements in WWE history. A show filled with clips of the many highlights of The Undertaker's career, culminating in The Undertaker making an appearance at the top of the show would allow the WWE Universe the opportunity to celebrate The Undertaker's accomplishments and the WWE itself to honour 'The Dead Man' by allowing him the opportunity to break character and make a retirement speech to the millions of fans throughout the WWE Universe. Of course there will be many who utterly dislike the idea of The Undertaker being placed on a pedestal during a RAW show and serenaded with speeches and best wishes from wrestlers and fans alike. In fact in knowing that Mark Calaway is an introverted man with a staunch respect for traditional wrestling values, a tribute show might not be a retirement scenario that he would necessarily advocate for himself. However it is worth noting that as any future retirement match is highly unlikely, a RAW show honouring The Undertaker could be the only plausible way in which to publically announce his retirement, and besides it could be achieved without The Undertaker ever breaking his Deadman gimmick or indeed actually being present during the show.
