5 Ways To Improve The WWE Network
3. More Podcasts
One of the most popular shows on the network since its release has been the Steve Austin show, where the legendary ‘Stone Cold’ sits down to speak with some huge names in the WWE. Some of his guests include Triple H, Paul Heyman and Vince McMahon, and the discussions they had were mouth-watering for any hardcore wrestling fan. A lot of fans love to see more content about the production of the show, without the mask of kayfabe.
Interviews with the likes of Paige, Edge and Christian, and Chris Jericho’s own podcasts with Stephanie McMahon and John Cena were very enjoyable, and more shows like this would be great content. Having seen their Q&A events in the UK, I think Shawn Michaels, Jim Ross and Bret Hart would be perfect candidates for a podcast, since they all have great tales to tell from their personal experiences in the wrestling industry.
There are a lot of legends who would make the perfect fit for a podcast, it would even be interesting to have the tables turned on Austin himself and have him interviewed by anyone from Chris Jericho to Renee Young. As it should, most of the time with guests on his podcast is spent talking about their own lives, so I would like to see Austin reflect, maybe talk about how it felt reliving his own career, creating the newest WWE 2K16 video game. Something like that would be vastly entertaining.
