5 Ways To Improve The WWE Network
2. Host A Weekly Diva-Exclusive Show
With the on-going Divas revolution blazing trails on WWE programming, it seems only right to host a weekly show on the WWE Network exclusive to the Divas. It can be taped, or broadcasted live before SmackDown tapings on Tuesday, and can run for an hour.
The aim would be to give the women of the company a chance to showcase their skills on a weekly basis. While some of the more popular Divas such as Paige and the Bella Twins will be facing off on Monday Night Raw in rivalries for the WWE Divas Championship, this show would let women such as Natalya, Naomi, Tamina and Alicia Fox battle it out to showcase their skills.
You could even bring some NXT performers like Emma, Dana Brooke and NXT Women’s Champion, Bayley up every now and then, even before Takeover events to hype an upcoming title match. Hosting an original, female-only wrestling show would not only allow the women of WWE to compete on a weekly basis, but it would be the next big step in assuring that this revolution is a success.
We usually only see one rivalry at a time in the Divas division, so this would also let us see some feuds exclusive to Tuesdays. Or perhaps if something really takes off, it could transition from a minor feud on this show to a major rivalry for the Divas Title on Raw and SmackDown. The talent is there, and it would only drive the nail home that women in wrestling are not to be taken lightly.
