5 Ways To Make WWE Raw's Women's Division Great Again

Let me ask you a question: who really brought forward the change in women's wrestling? Most people would point to NXT Takeover Brooklyn's match with Sasha Banks and Bayley as the match to really break the mould and make an impact on the business. But what if I said three women more than a year before that was starting the entire revolution before any of them had footing in NXT?

Even if you don't agree with that, I can see Emma, Paige and Summer Rae all shaking their heads 'yes'.

Although the three of them pushed each other down in NXT, the differences in their main roster careers is staggering. Emma was pushed into a relationship with Santino Marella and tried banking off her arm dance to crowds who had no idea what to think of it. Summer Rae began as Fandango's dance partner, then sat dormant until replacing Lana in that dreadful Ziggler/Rusev storyline. Paige has been the only one out of the three to actually get a shot, holding the Diva's title twice and having to drop her NXT Women's Championship due to her dominance.

Without Summer Rae, we might not have had a Sasha Banks, as she brought up Sasha from just a developmental talent into The Boss we all love now. If Paige never dropped the NXT Women's title, Charlotte might have never won the title at all. And if that never happened, then Bayley would never have risen through the ranks to take down Sasha in Brooklyn.

This might be following a lot of "What Ifs", but they are legitimate. Having the original NXT women face of against three of the four horsewomen could draw huge and remake stars in Paige and Emma and establish Summer Rae as a credible wrestler. Instead of the dreadful PCB v. B.A.D v. Bella feud we had a year ago, we can have a six women match that actually can mean something to the long-term reinvention of the division.
