5 Ways Vince McMahon Can Shake Up WWE Raw

1. Brock Abdicates

An excuse frequently peddled for WWE's plummeting viewership during Brock Lesnar's first Universal Title run was the champion's truancy, as it apparently left the product completely devoid of focus. Ratings failed to show any considerable upswing following Roman Reigns' ascension, but typically myopic higher-ups will likely attribute the most recent record-setting low to his absence - despite October's previous nadir occurring just a week before the ever-present champ was forced to vacate the strap.

Since winning the belt back at Crown Jewel, we've hardly seen Brock Lesnar on Raw, and he's set to check for rain once more at TLC. From their range of shaky records, we all know WWE doesn't have the best statisticians, and they're none too good at differentiating between causation and correlation either. Three of Raw's four lowest ratings have came with Brock there as champ, or quite specifically, not there as champ. That fact is enough for them to draw a conclusion. An extreme measure, but a forced vacation and a Royal Rumble to determine a new champion is not entirely impossible,

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
