5 Ways WWE Can Rehabilitate The Wyatt Family

5. Less Talk, More Action

Bray Wyatt's work on the microphone was arguably the most gripping aspect of the entire presentation of the Family. He spoke of vague, mystical things, and their threats felt more sinister because of the lack of clarity from where they came. It wasn't 'I'm going to beat you', it was heavily clouded threats of destruction and obliteration. It wasn't just the content either - the delivery was also head and shoulders above everyone else on the roster. Now, however, this has grown stale. The threats of Bray Wyatt no longer carry any weight, because they have never actually led to anything. It is clear that the Wyatts need to focus on concrete actions as opposed to hollow words. The Wyatt's recent feud with the Brothers of Destruction is a recent example of their words not really meaning anything. I mean, they claimed to have taken the souls of Undertaker and Kane, inhabiting some of their other worldly powers, but nothing really happened, did it? The easy reset on this is for the Family to interrupt some of the many meaningless matches that take up a significant portion of WWE programming. There doesn't need to be a rhyme or a reason for it. Destruction for the sake of destruction. The family are four physically imposing men (to say the least), and focusing on striking fear and getting themselves over as indistructible moments (as opposed to launching thinly-veiled threats) may lead to Bray and his men regaining some of their mystique.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man.
