5 Ways WWE Can Rehabilitate The Wyatt Family

4. They Need To Start Winning

This seems obvious, but if there is one thing the Wyatt Family doesn't seem to do much of, it's win. Look at the major feuds of the Wyatts and the evidence is clear to say the least. The Brothers of Destruction made them look like chumps. John Cena emasculated Bray to the point where he bordered on becoming irrelevant. Daniel Bryan may have lost the showcase bout between him and Bray, but he came out of the feud with all the benefits. Even Harper and Rowan's summer scuffles with the Usos saw them come out on the losing end of that stick. Despite what Nikki Bella might say, wins and losses still carry some weight in professional wrestling. Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, Erick Rowan and Braun Strowman are four of the most physically imposing men in World Wrestling Entertainment, and logic dictates that they should come out on top more often than not. Add to this their supposed mystique and power to intimidate and there shouldn't be too many who can challenge them. Maybe the reset button on this has been hit already. This past Monday on Raw saw the family see off the Dudley Boyz. Give them wins against lower and mid card opponents for a while and start the rebuilding process. The tag team division in particular is now a little bulkier, so putting Harper and Rowan over a number of teams can work twofold. The titles may currently be on the heel team of New Day, but building Harper and Rowan up will add credence and a legitimate challenge to whichever babyface team takes the straps away from Kofi, Xavier and Epsilon. Winning matches makes individuals look like winners (shock horro). Losing matches makes them look like losers (double shock). This isn't rocket science, but changing the Wyatt's win/loss record so that it favours the former would go some way towards rebuilding them.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man.
