Collecting Pro wrestling on DVD can be an expensive (and infuriating) pastime. For every Yay! I just got a Japanese Tiger Mask box set! or Finally, Terry Funks WrestleFest at a reasonable price! moments, there are a plethora of sh@t! No Supercard of Honor IV for me! or Im not paying twenty quid for some @$$holes copied DVDs of Keiji Mutoh matches! Basically, if you regularly buy Attitude Era Pay Per Views, or WWE box sets on DVD/Blu Ray, your bank manager will thank you for ordering the WWE Network instead... You might still track down ROH or NJPW rarities on eBay, but the WWE Network will grant you access to a legitimate treasure trove of matches, including (but not limited to) WWF, WCW, ECW and AWA, which should keep you busy for, um, ever. If you think of the WWE Network as pro wrestlings equivalent of Netflix, youre definitely on the right track. Another way to look at it is this: if youre the sort of music fan that doesnt buy CDs because (s)he has Spotify, then just ignore the rest of this article and subscribe already...
