5 Worst Examples Of WWE Manipulation

3. Kicking Out Fans (When They're Not Doing Anything Wrong)

While it's perfectly justifiable for WWE or security personnel to remove unruly fans, it’s a different story when you kick out fans just because they were dressed as wrestlers.

As reported in March, a group of fans who were cosplaying as wrestlers were given a choice: either remove their outfits or lose their front row seats. The possible reasoning behind this move is that the fans would be distracting to the show, shifting the attention away from the wrestlers in the ring and onto them.

However, those fans themselves tweeted that they had no intention of hijacking the show or causing any disruption. They were just there to have fun and show the world how much they love the WWE. And what better way is there to do that than by dressing up like your favorite wrestlers? The irony is, there are times when WWE cannot even sell out a building, and Vince has security threaten fans with ejection for wearing something that shows their pride for Vince’s product.

WWE hasn’t issued a statement, and is most likely going to continue as if this issue never existed. Unfortunately, just because WWE tries to ignore something, doesn’t mean people won’t hear about it and have questions.

Vince once said that even bad publicity is good for WWE; in this case it certainly isn’t. Clearly Vince doesn’t like it when people make their own fun during one of his shows.
