5 Wrestlers In Vince McMahon's Doghouse Right Now

3. Lio Rush

Lio Rush is no stranger to heat.

He pissed off a huge portion of the wrestling community by no-selling a powerbomb off a ladder and through a table at a CZW show in 2017. He then pissed off several of his new WWE colleagues by tweeting "I guess this is what happens when you're not TRULY ready for Asuka" in the imminent wake of Emma's release that same year. Rush was either actively insulting to Emma, or just very thick in his pursuit of putting his colleague over. Bray Wyatt in a spot of veteran posturing tweeted "You ain't gonna make it with the wolves here, kid," in response, which is perversely funny, because he hasn't made it to TV in nearly a year.

If you're gonna go full Bob Holly, ya little sh*thead, best back it up.

So what was it? Obnoxious, or thick?

Obnoxious!, if a recent backstage report from the reputable Mike Johnson of PWInsider is any indication. Rush has an apparent reputation of "rubbing people the wrong way".

This alleged attitude problem might explain Rush's on/off association with Bobby Lashley, and the attendant, threatened onscreen demotion - but that could, in fairness, just be typically erratic and piss-poor writing.
