5 Wrestlers Who Could Be The Joker In AEW's Casino Battle Royale (And 5 Who Won't)

5. Won't Be - Stu Grayson

AEW

The absence of Stu Grayson from the Casino Battle Royale lineup is odd for a number of reasons.

Firstly, he wrestled on the most recent Dynamite on Friday evening. He and Dark Order teammate lost to Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky. While that was his first match since the 4 May (taped 22 April) episode of Dark, it's evident that he's good to go.

Secondly, the Dark Order has a somewhat strong presence in the match, with Uno, Colt Cabana, and Preston Vance all confirmed. They're behind only the Hardy Family Office in terms of having a numerical advantage in the bout, yet Grayson, one of the founding fathers of the faction, is missing.

It simply doesn't add up, but that doesn't mean he should enter as the Joker. He's a full-time roster member, isn't currently seriously injured, and wrestled the week of the pay-per-view; having him as the surprise final entrant of the match would be a considerable letdown from an otherwise incredibly well-booked promotion.

Maybe have the former Player Dos appear at ringside to cheer on his stablemates, or have him and other Dark Order members fend off Team Taz during Brian Cage vs. Adam Page. Just keep the Dark Order away from the Joker position, unless...
