After FedEx indirectly delivered Sean Waltman back to WWE in 1998, his injury-ravaged body - not to mention the current of puerility now running through the company - demanded an update to his impressive aerial arsenal.

His new signature move, the Bronco Buster, was the perfect fit within the groincentric D-Generation X stable. What it lacked in legitimacy it made up for in humiliation, as the former 1-2-3 Kid would ride his opponent's face with his crotch like an overly amorous Alien facehugger.

Though it helped popularise DX's latest recruit - for a year or two, anyway - Waltman probably wished he'd never devised a move which put his sensitive areas directly in the firing line following a gnarly incident fifteen years later.

The details of the story are both ridiculously gruesome yet undoubtedly amusing. During an independent show in 2013, Waltman misjudged the landing of his Bronco Buster onto an uncovered turnbuckle, causing him to literally tear open a new anus. Afterwards, the Minnesotan gushed about how he gushed from both his holes, old and new, revealing that he required an emergency sphincterotomy. Thankfully, he fully recovered, and was able to see the funny side whilst telling the tale.

It's amazing that something can be so horrific yet so hilarious. And that's just the Bronco Buster.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
