5 Wrestling Dream Matches That Make Perfect Sense (And 5 That Don't)

1. DON'T - The Fiend Vs Doink

The Fiend Doink
WWE

If you're the fan that would want this match given access to a time machine, ask yourself for a second why exactly that is.

It's presumably born out of a love for The Fiend character, but there's simply no comparison between the diluted merch machine masquerading as a spooky supernatural force and the original psychopathic - and terrifyingly real - incarnation of Doink.

Unless of course, it's just about the clown face.

Heel Doink had a clown face because you can't spell "hideous" without h-i-d-e. You weren't to know of his cruelty until it was too late and you'd been subjected to it. Fiend's got a clown face too. It might have been a horrifying veneer for the darkness that lay beneath once upon a time, but it's a clown face now. Even clownier when the f*cking buffoon sticks his tongue through the lips of the mask or loses his Universal Championship in embarrassing fashion. Twice.

In terms of being able to scare, create suspense and use his persona to win matches, Wyatt's monster is relatively close to the babyface version of Doink, but surely the last thing any Fiend fans would want would be for that inconvenient truth to be made real?
