5 WWE ECW Superstars You Most Likely Forgot All About

4. Braden Walker

Braden Walker In early 2008, "Wildcat" Chris Harris, one half of one of TNA's greatest tag teams of all time, signed to the WWE. At the time, TNA was gaining in popularity and considered to be on it's way to maybe one day cementing itself as legitimate competition to the WWE. Don't laugh at that, in 2008 it was true! For the WWE to snatch up a "TNA built" wrestler, they must have seen something in him and had something big in store. Indeed, something big was in store. Debuting in the summer of that year was "Wildcat" Chris Harris, looking heftier than ever before, under the persona of Braden Walker. He entered to some sort of generic country music, complete with a Titantron entrance video that simply flashed Braden Walker's name. The first words out of his mouth, in challenging Armando Estrada to face him in his ECW debut match, were a knock knock joke. The answer to who was at the door, by the way, was "I'm Braden Walker and I'm going to knock your brains out." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VC1kOL-6YY0 After two matches, Braden Walker was undefeated in ECW. However, the undefeated stream would not last long. After a brief backstage encounter with ECW champion Matt Hardy, in which he tells Matt that he has his back and then absolutely nothing comes of that encounter during or after Matt Hardy's match later that night, Braden Walker disappeared off WWE TV. Nearly one month after his ECW television debut, Braden Walker was released from his WWE contract.
