5 WWE Heel Turns That Need To Happen Now
5. Randy Orton
During Randy Orton's match against Jeff Hardy at Backlash, some old habits started to resurface in the 'Viper', and it was great to see for anyone who enjoyed his peak run as a heel. Those subtle, glassy-eyed smiles, the way he stalks opponents slowly and tries to dissect their body: It's the kind of Orton we haven't seen in a while.
It's also one he needs to unleash fully soon.
Randy is so much better as a bad guy. As a babyface, he's rather stoic and relies more on character longevity than anything else to get cheers. This doesn't need to be the case; WWE (and Orton himself) don't need to settle for babyface averageness, not when he's so damn good at being evil.
If Orton snaps and puts more emphasis on the cold-blooded aspects of his character, then he'd feel like a much more important part of the SmackDown roster. As a heel, he'd have excellent matches against Hardy, AJ Styles, Daniel Bryan and Rusev (assuming he's full-blown babyface bound), just to name a few.
