WWE may be in the business of scheduling dream matches a decade too late these days, but AJ Styles vs. The Undertaker is one of the few that could actually still deliver.

We could go into how Styles is like the others in that he's smaller and faster than 'Taker and could ultimately put on a high-flying performance to capture our attention but, by now we've established that all of these potential opponents are more than capable of doing that. Styles' greatest asset is his veteran ability to tell a story between the ropes - something he's been doing for a very long time.

A pro at working around his opponents' needs, Styles is adept at bringing out the best in larger less-capable opponents (Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar), making them look incredibly strong while still allowing himself to look a million dollars in the process (even in defeat). While a lot of that is indeed down to his incredible athleticism, it's also down to the storytelling.

Over the past few years, he has put on clinics with a diverse range of opponents, utilising a methodical approach throughout before unleashing his high-flying arsenal in the second half. This approach would likely benefit 'The Phenom' as he could dominate his smaller opponent in the early-going before allowing him to take over when he inevitably becomes winded.

Few can tell a story in the ring quite like 'Taker but Styles is undoubtedly one of them, and if both of these veterans brought their best, the former SmackDown show-stoppers could produce something much higher quality than any "dream match" in recent memory.
