Yes, believe it or not, Finn Bálor is the most desirable option on this list.

Being a smaller, younger and all-round faster opponent, he too would be able to do all the heavy-lifting and carry 'Taker to a strong match, but the real reason why he's the perfect candidate is down to his, well, darker side.

'The Deadman' standing across the ring from 'The Demon' Finn Bálor is a sight that fans have wanted to see ever since the latter was called up to the main roster and, like they have an annoying habit of doing, WWE completely missed the opportunity.

That doesn't, however, mean that it's a lost cause. Bálor's main roster debut was well into 'Taker's post-Streak decline, so had the creative team pulled the trigger on this feud back then, it could have ended up looking the exact same as it would now. In fact, it could have looked much worse, given the shape that 'The Phenom' was in during both 2016 and 2017.

As his recent collision with Goldberg proved, 'Taker is in amazing shape right now, and he's capable of keeping the illusion alive in short bursts.

With that in mind, perhaps now is the time to finally make Deadman vs. Demon a reality. Considering that Bálor is one of WWE's highest-flying and most watchable performers, he should be able to carry his veteran opponent to a surprisingly decent match - one that would undoubtedly be a visual spectacle.
