5 WWE Women's Feuds That Ruled (And 5 That Sucked)

1. Dawn Marie Vs. Torrie Wilson

Well, here it is - the worst WWE women's feud ever. There was just so, so much wrong with this one, between the whole bait-and-switch 'lesbian hotel room sex' episode to the fact it took about eight hundred years to finish.

The two WWE divas began feuding on Smackdown in late 2002 when Dawn began a relationship with Torrie's father, Al (played by Torrie's real-life father). The former Mrs. Billy Kidman beat Dawn in their big match at No Mercy and that could - and really should - have been the end of it.

But no, WWE decided to look past their complete lack of in-ring or acting ability and book them in a feud which spanned another few months and took up way too much television time. Dawn ended up getting engaged to Al and this is where the feud took a turn for the worse.

In order to get the wedding called off, Torrie agreed to meet Dawn in a hotel room and spend the night, as per Marie's requests. It was all a lie, of course, a cheap excuse to broadcast some not-even-mildly titillating footage of the two women sharing a faux-lesbian kiss at the Armageddon PPV.

The wedding went down (with Dawn and Al in their underwear) on the January 2 2003 episode of Smackdown but it didn't last because, just a week later, Dawn shagged her new hubby to death. No, I'm not making that part up. This all led to an embarrassing enactment of Al's wake and a crappy blowoff match at the Royal Rumble.

There Torrie won the first ever Stepmother Vs. Stepdaughter match after a short, sloppy match. Nobody cared.
