Birthplace: Manhasset, New York It is a well-known fact that famed Canadian Chris Jericho was actually born in New York, when his father, Ted Irvine, was a member of the New York Rangers National Hockey League team. That still doesn't make it any less strange to include him on a list of born Americans, though. Jericho has represented Canada very well and very proudly during his career (just don't tell him to go back to Toronto), and he'll always be represented as one of Canada's greatest wrestlers of all-time, but for the purposes of something like this, the six-time World Champion, nine-time Intercontinental Champion and seven-time Tag Team Champion can be an All-American boy.
