Birthplace: Bottineau, North Dakota Red Bastien was someone who was able to find success during his in-ring career, but was then also be able to find success once he had retired. In the ring, he was best known for winning a total of 16 different Tag Team Titles with 11 different partners. Think about that for a moment. In a normal man's career these days, he might win a bunch of Tag Team Titles with one, maybe two, and maybe three partners, at the most, so having 11 different partners is insane. After his in-ring career had ended, he became a trainer, and is credited for being the man who found both Sting and The Ultimate Warrior training at a gym and getting them into the wrestling business. That will end up being his lasting legacy, above any title he would win in the ring.
