50 Best Wrestlers From Each Of The United States

Washington: Daniel Bryan

Birthplace: Aberdeen, Washington If you're of a certain age, you're reading this and being angry that Greg "The Hammer" Valentine isn't the choice here. If you're slightly older than that, you're reading this and being angry that Greg's father, Johnny Valentine, isn't the choice here. Both men were born in Washington and had tremendous careers, but Daniel Bryan has done the same, even when he wasn't supposed to. One of the best technical wrestlers to ever live, Bryan has used that to become one of the most successful indy wrestlers ever, before moving on to WWE, where he has almost literally changed the way the company books things. His incredible popularity forced the company's hand last year, where they had to change plans and put him in the WrestleMania main event or face serious fan backlash. Those same steps are in motion again this year, and that technical skill combined with his popularity gives him the nod here.
