After the Montreal Screwjob, all bets were off between WWE and the fans. They dont like to see one of their heroes get screwed, and some fans will hold a grudge over it for years and years. Vince McMahon, Shawn Michael, and especially Earl Hebner have received the You Screwed Bret chant on numerous occasions. Now with just about everyone who was part of the screwjob either retired or inactive, its safe to say that this chant can be locked in the WWE vault for good.
25. WHAT?
Speaking of chants that should be locked in a vault, the what chant was both a blessing and a curse in WWE. While Steve Austin was using it as his catchphrase back in 2001, the fans were quick to take it from him and use it for years, and years, and years, and oh so many years. Even long after Austin has left WWE, fans would still shout what whenever a heel paused during his or her promo. Thankfully the what chants have died down, but every once in awhile a what chant gets started up, and its just painful to sit through.
24.He/Shes Hardcore!
When something really hardcore happens, such as a guy diving off the ring apron and smacking his opponent with a steel chair, or when he rakes the guys face against barbed wire, youre very likely to hear someone make this chant. WWE might not be nearly as hardcore as it once was, but over on the indie side you can find some crazy wrestlers who can do some pretty disturbing stuff which in turn makes them hardcore in the eyes of their fans.
