50 Greatest Wrestling Chants of All Time

8. €œYou Tapped Out!€

Heels hate this one, especially when it turns out to be true. One example of this chant occurring is on the Raw after WrestleMania 30. At WrestleMania Daniel Bryan made Batista tap out to the Yes Lock, and on Raw Batista was given a €œyou tapped out€ chant right as he was about to speak. It€™s discouraging for heels to hear, but fans can€™t help but say it.

7. "Ass-hole!€

Every wrestler who has ever been a heel has probably gotten this chant before. It€™s the quintessential chant for fans to shout out whenever the heel wrestler has done something so despicable that they need to be told to their face that they€™re an asshole. Vince McMahon always got this chant, but he didn€™t hate it. In fact he loved it when the fans called him an asshole, and the asshole chanting would eventually become part of the McMahon character.

6. €œOne More Match!€

It sucks when a wrestler is forced to retire due to injury, or quits because they€™ve decided to move on to other endeavors. Some fans have a hard time letting go, and so they often ask their favorite wrestlers to have just one more match to go out on. When Edge had to retire due to neck problems, fans still wanted one more match from him because he was missed. Even guys like Rock and Austin keep getting one more match chants.
