50 Greatest Wrestling Chants of All Time

47. €œChange The Channel!€

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vzg3ANrdPuM One might consider this chant to actually be an act of kindness from the folks in the arena: they have to watch the seemingly terrible match as it happens, but the viewers at home most certainly don€™t have to. All they need to do is grab their remotes and change the channel. Much like €œyou can€™t wrestle,€ this was a chant that served to humiliate the wrestlers performing in front of the crowd. One example of such a chant occurring is Big Show versus Batista when they competing for the ECW World Title. When a World Title match, even if it€™s the ECW title, gets that kind of reaction, changes need to be made.

46. €œYou Suck Toes!€

Now you€™re probably thinking that this chant belongs to Gene Snitsky, the wrestler who also happened to have a foot fetish when he wasn€™t busy accidentally causing abortions - don€™t ask, it€™s a long story. Actually, this chant went out to Michael Cole, back when he was heavy on a heel turn and was feuding with fellow commentator Jerry €œThe King€ Lawler. As part of the feud, the two competed in a match at Over The Limit where the loser would kiss the winner€™s foot. Cole lost naturally, and once he slobbered all over the royal toes, the fans decided to add further insult by reminding Cole of his actions.

45. €œSuper Dragon!€

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kMmTFt45eyI This one happens to be an internet darling in the eyes of most professional wrestling fans. Super Dragon, a professional wrestler who have been through a number of indie federations such as Combat Zone Wrestling, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, and most notably Ring of Honor, would often get his name chanted when he performed amazing moves in the ring. However, what makes this wrestler name chant different from others is one extremely pumped up wrestling fan who went a bit too long with the Super Dragon chant. It got to a point where Super Dragon himself had to go up to the fan and tell him to stop chanting his name. A video of it emerged online, and since then the smart wrestling fans tend to throw out €œSuper Dragon€ as a joke chant even when Dragon isn€™t competing at the show.
