50 MMA Fights You Must Watch Before You Die

30. Amanda Nunes Vs. Cris Cyborg - UFC 232

There's never been a more dominant woman in mixed martial arts than Cris Cyborg. Sure, Ronda Rousey came close when she ran through the UFC's 135lb divisions. However, that's nothing compared to Cyborg's 13 years of destruction.

Originally known for battering opponents with strikes until they were a bloody mess, Cyborg's fight style had matured significantly by the time she arrived in the UFC. Now she was able to patiently pick apart her opponents. before putting them away violently.

When she faced UFC women's bantamweight champion, Amanda Nunes, many thought it would be her biggest challenge. After all, Nunes had looked like an absolute destroyer since she defeated Miesha Tate for the title. However, betting against Cyborg almost seemed nothing short of foolish. Or so we thought.

Instead of being tentative and cautious, Nunes attacked Cyborg immediately, hitting the champion with punches and stopping her from getting into her rhythm. Cyborg returned fire, but it only solidified her fate sooner as Nunes continued to land devastating strike after devastating strike until the champion was unconscious and unable to continue.
