50 MMA Fights You Must Watch Before You Die

29. Chan Sung Jung Vs. Yair Rodriguez - UFC Fight Night 139

Ever since the lower weight classes were brought into the UFC, the featherweight division has grown significantly. With a number of impressive fighters all battling it out for the top spot, it's quickly become one of the most entertaining divisions in the promotion.

With so much action taking place, it takes a lot for any particular bout to stand out. However, the epic brawl between fan favourites, Chan Sung Jung and Yair Rodriguez, is definitely one of the best fights in featherweight history.

This fight stayed strictly on the feet as Jung used his quick combinations to try and take Rodriguez's kicking game away from him. However, Rodriguez was able to utilise his own creative offense to land his own strikes. Despite being tightly contested, it was quite clear that the Korean Zombie was up on the scorecards.

However, Jung's eagerness to finish his opponent's came back to haunt him in the dying seconds of the fight. As he chased down Rodriguez, the Mexican ducked and landed a sensational no-look elbow, leaving Jung's unconscious body crumpled up on the Octagon's canvas.
