For those keeping score, Mick Foley had been squaring off against Randy Orton and his Evolution stablemates for some time when he decided to call up a former tag team partner for backup.

The Rock would join Foley in what would be the Great One’s last official WWF/E match for nearly eight years. The 2-on-3 handicap match was easily one of the most highly entertaining bouts you can watch.

Without spoiling it too much, the interactions between Ric Flair and the Rock are some of the funniest moments ever in a WrestleMania ring. The match itself was great fun, with the right man winning. Fans also were treated to Rock’s last Mania match for eight years, as he went Hollywood and became a box office star.
