Women’s wrestling historically has gotten the short end of the stick when it comes to WrestleMania, but that seems to be changing with the next generation of females on the roster.

At WrestleMania XXXII, three of the vaunted NXT Four Horsewomen competed for the new Women’s Championship. Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch put on an excellent match, highlighting just how far women’s wrestling had come from the days when a women’s match got bumped from the Mania card.

Despite the feeling from many fans that it was Sasha’s time, Charlotte’s victory continued her heel dominance.
