50. Ultimate Warrior vs. Hunter Hearst Helmsley WrestleMania 12
This match is significant for a couple reasons, neither of which is the Ultimate Warrior no-selling a Pedigree. WrestleMania 12 marked Warriors last hurrah in WWF/E for nearly two decades. This was the start of Vince McMahons final attempt to recapture Warriors immense popularity. Four months later, the experiment would end, and Warrior would not be seen in the WWE again until his Hall of Fame induction 18 years later in 2014. This match also was Helmsleys first WrestleMania bout, having joined WWF just after Mania in 1995. Despite being squashed, Hunter would go on four years later to become the first heel to win a main event at WrestleMania 2000 (16).
