Pros:

1. Skilled grappler

2. Impressive repertoire of maneuvers

3. Great low/mid-card heel

Cons:

1. Small

2. Everything about the Kerwin White gimmick

3. Wasn’t Eddie

Out of all the 'SmackDown Six', Chavo was the least successful. Though he was a very skilled wrestler in his own right, Chavo simply couldn't escape from his uncle's shadow, even after Eddie's tragic passing. Chavo was constantly being compared to Eddie, and those boots were definitely too big for him to fill.

Chavo couldn't seem to find his own niche in WWE. Despite being bigger than Rey, the masked Superstar was far more popular and had more opportunities to show off his luchadore skills. He didn't have much of a gimmick other than 'Eddie's family', and any attempt to present him as a serious wrestler failed.

The worst example of this creative direction was the Kerwin White gimmick, where the character's catchphrase was, and I'm not kidding here, 'If it's not white, it's not right'. How Chavo allowed himself to get talked into such a gimmick is a mystery, but at least the silver lining in his uncle's passing was that it allowed the gimmick to be dropped before it could get any worse.

I don't know who Chavo p*ssed off to be treated to poorly during the Ruthless Aggression, but it was clearly bad enough for him to spend the majority of his WWE career going nowhere.
