Do yourself a big favour: Never be tempted to watch Kurt Angle's final WWE match again. Those who sat through it the first time could stack warnings on top of warnings against it, but some may wonder if a second watch will reveal something new. Unfortunately not. It would've been a blessing to skip Angle vs. Baron Corbin when sitting down with 'Mania 35.

Shame on WWE for booking a legend like Kurt in an afterthought six minute loss to Corbin during his send off. He deserved way better than that nonsense. Since then, Angle has pointed out that the company didn’t really do anything worthwhile with Corbin afterwards, so he feels like doing the honours to someone they weren't serious about was a waste of his retirement. It's hard to argue. This was. Don’t watch it again unless you want a sour taste in your mouth.

Being blunt, it would've been for the best had an earlier match on the show gone long and time restraints meant Angle vs. Corbin had to be culled. That sounds extreme, but the bout had nothing to it that reflected Kurt's career coming to an end. This was a meh quality TV match plucked from Raw or SmackDown and placed on an already overstuffed card.

Simple as that. Tragic.

Even massive Baron Corbin supporters had little to cheer about. Their man was dressed up like a bouncer amidst the dreadful 'Constable' era and WWE cheekily placed Angle's last hurrah right after Triple H vs. Batista too. They got 25 minutes. Kurt and Corbs got 6, but their match felt like it lasted 25 years.
