6. Seeing 3 Current AEW Stars Headline 37 Is Trippy

2021's three-way was a career-best WrestleMania performance (up until that point) for Roman Reigns, but something else sticks out when watching 'Mania 37 today. Roman's peers Edge and Daniel Bryan aren't even called that anymore. They're over in AEW as Adam Copeland and Bryan Danielson, which just goes to show how quickly the pro wrestling landscape can change.

Take an eye off it for a second and suddenly years have passed, wrestlers are plying their trade elsewhere, and everything feels different. It's mad. In fact, mere weeks after headlining the biggest wrestling show going, Bryan would work his final WWE bout vs. Reigns on SmackDown then take some time off before debuting under Tony Khan's umbrella at All Out 2021. Meanwhile, Copeland would remain on WWE's team until the summer of 2023.

There's a decent chance neither of them ever works at 'Mania again.

That's not to say they'll both be Team AEW forever. Bryan surely has a WWE Hall Of Fame spot waiting for him eventually, and Edge showing back up here or there isn't out of the question in the future. It's pretty trippy to watch a recent 'Mania supercard like 37 and realise that Sasha Banks was in the weekender's other main event vs. Bianca Belair too; she's currently All Elite as Mercedes Mone.

In other words, 3 out of 5 wrestlers on top of the 'Mania 37 pile no longer work for WWE. That's a lot of talent traded to the other channel in a relatively short space of time. AEW's fairly niche audience in comparison to WWE's more casual interest means this might've been the last time some saw Bryan wrestle!

Scary thought considering the quality of his matches generally.
