37. Sid’s Oscar-Worthy Acting
Onto something lighter but no less tragic.
The 27 September 1999 Nitro closed with a quite-sensational piece of acting from Sid. He walked out of the building to see that his car had been flattened. Selling it like a champ, Sid produced a tantrum your toddlers would be ashamed of. "Oh my God! What happened to my car?!".
Not content to show up wrestling's total lack of acting prowess, Sid then leapt atop the mashed vehicle and yelled out Bill Goldberg's name. Nitro went dark as Mr. Vicious screamed, "WHYYYYYYYYY?!" at the heavens. It's a slight surprise WCW didn't mess this up and shout, "Cut!" before Nitro faded.
