50 Worst WCW Moments Ever

34. Stacy Keibler’s Bogus Miscarriage

A mud wrestling match between Miss. Hancock (Keibler) and Major Gunns was booked for the dreadful New Blood Rising 2000 pay-per-view in August. It sucked, because of course it did. Post-match, Stacy clutched her stomach and the announcers wondered on-air if she was suffering a miscarriage.

Eek!

To recap, WCW went from a match specifically designed to be "sexy" (the mud thing was a craze that few can comprehend today) to insinuating that being booked it in had caused Keibler to lose her child. What a painful use of pay-per-view minutes this was. It attempted to be shocking, but ended up just being depressing.
